Jean-Claude Horlacher (Eisentanz) is an electronic music artist and an experimental instrument builder from Switzerland. He has worked with concepts of Music concrete and new-music. Under his project name ‘Eisentanz’ he experiments with everything with sounds and builds instruments which interplay with water, metal, wood, stones and machines. He also uses field recordings and sounds from train stations and airport and ambient noises along with synthesizers for his live performance. He has developed a very diverse compositional style which spans from EBM/ Industrial/Gothic over Electro/DownTempo, Film music, Intermezzo up to Ethno and TripHop. So he presents a very special Live-Performance with self developed instruments like hanging metal tubes with different functions called “Shrotophon”, human robot, soundsticks, long pvc-tube to name a few.Homepage |
